Keep to canal speed

Free, but still 18+: why

Social casino games share real gambling’s look, sound and pacing. Lockkeeper Canal is only for adults over the legal gambling age and is not aimed at under-18s. Age is checked twice: on the banner that greets you when you arrive, and again with a tick when you create your account.

Never on this canal

• Real-money gambling: never offered, never promoted.
• Prizes of real-world value: never.
• Coins for sale or in-app purchases: never.
• Links to gambling operators or affiliates: never.
• Countdowns or streaks to haul you back: never.

Plain truth

Free games can be set up to feel generous, and they refill your balance at no cost. Real-money games do neither. A good run here says nothing about how you would do with real money at stake.

Warning signs on the towpath

• Sessions running long past the time you set yourself.
• Irritation when you stop.
• Playing to dodge a low mood on the towpath.
• Sleep, work or people getting less of your time.
• Searching out a real-money version.

At the tiller

• Choose your playing time before you start.
• Keep the autoplay off, like a hand on the tiller.
• Moor up for a break, often.
• Clear this site’s data for a full reset, or block the site in your device settings to stop for good.
