1. Who keeps the lock

These terms govern your use of lockkeepercanal.com ("Lockkeeper Canal", "we", "us"), operated by the operator of lockkeepercanal.com. Using the site means you accept them.

2. Who may use the canal

Use of Lockkeeper Canal is limited to users aged 18 or over. Using it means you confirm you are 18 or over.

3. Canal coins are virtual

Every game uses virtual coins, provided free of charge.
Canal coins have no monetary value; they are not money, credit or property.
Coins cannot be purchased, sold, withdrawn or transferred, nor exchanged for money, goods, services or prizes. No in-app purchases are available.
The canal offers no prize with real-world value.
We are free to adjust or reset coins, levels and features at any time.

4. No real-money gambling on the cut

Lockkeeper Canal does not offer or promote real-money gambling, and no lock on the cut links to a gambling operator.

5. Your boat licence (account)

Lower Pound Rise and Feederbrook Mill, beyond the open lock, require a free account. One account per person, and no sharing.
Do not share your password. If someone else has used your account, let us know immediately.
Delete your account from your account page whenever you want. It happens at once and cannot be undone.
If an account is used to disrupt the site, or we believe its holder is under 18, we may suspend it.
Coins, levels and missions belong to the account; they are not your property and may be reset.

6. Fair use of the towpath

No disrupting the site, no automated tools against it, no offers to trade coins, and no use by anyone under 18.

7. Availability of the canal and liability

We provide the site “as is” and may change or withdraw any part of it. A malfunction voids all plays and pays. These terms do not limit any liability that the law does not allow to be limited, and your statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. Governing law for the canal

The terms of the cut are governed by the law of England and Wales.
